The Atlanta Braves had a scheduled off-day on Thursday and will be back at Truist Park this evening to begin a six-game homestand with the first of three games versus the Cleveland Guardians. Bryce Elder will serve as the starting pitcher for Atlanta in the series opener, while Slade Cecconi will head to the mound for Cleveland. The first pitch is slated for 7:15 pm. Fans may listen to play-by-play coverage from the Atlanta Braves Radio Network on WLAQ 1410 AM/96.9 FM; airtime is 6 pm.
The Braves’ series versus the Guardians will continue through Sunday, then they will play host to the Miami Marlins in a three-game series next Monday night through Wednesday night in Atlanta.
