Media release from the Georgia Lottery Corporation:
Georgia Lottery officials this week delivered an oversized promotional check to a lucky store where a $2.5 million scratch-off ticket was sold.
The $2,500,000 Cash Multiplier ticket was sold at West Mart, 3411 Hickory Flat Highway in Woodstock.
Included are photos of store owner Anil Patel with the promotional check representing the $2.5 million win.
The winner claimed the prize March 16.
As with all Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from scratchers benefit education in the state of Georgia.
