The people of Cave Spring, GA are looking forward to special events in the days ahead.
The Cave Spring Downtown Development Authority will host Porches and Pastries this Saturday, April 18th at 6 pm, according to board member Curtis Burch.
Tickets are $25 each. Only 100 tickets are available. Participants will enjoy a walking tour of five porches – each providing live entertainment, as well as a delicious pastry. They are asked to arrive at 5:30 pm to meet their guide at the Lumberyard (near the gazebo) in Cave Spring. Get more information and tickets at www.cavespring.ga.gov.
BaconFest ’26 is set for Saturday, May 2nd from 10 am until 3 pm at Rolator Park. That event will be accompanied by a Car Show, says Burch, who hopes that weather will be favorable.
Admission will cost $5. The first 100 patrons in line at the tasting pavilion will receive a ticket to sample bacon dishes. Children ages 12 and under will be admitted for free.
