Media release from the Georgia Lottery Corporation:
A Georgia Lottery player hit the jackpot for $1,725,995 in the April 22 Fantasy 5 drawing, marking the sixth largest jackpot in the game’s history. The lucky ticket, purchased at Supermarket, 3166 Buford Highway in Duluth, matched all five numbers, which were 11-18-34-39-40.
In addition, another player won the $1 million top prize playing the Millionaire Maker scratch-off game at Chevron Food Mart, 3453 Baker Road in Acworth. The player claimed their winnings on April 22 and selected the annuity prize option.
As with all Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from Fantasy 5 and scratchers benefit education in the state of Georgia.
