The Rome International Film Festival, Historic DeSoto Theatre Foundation and Coosa River Basin Initiative invite members of the community to attend “Contaminated: A Film Event About PFAs in NWGA” set for Monday, May 4th at 6:30 pm at the DeSoto Theatre, 530 Broad Street in downtown Rome.
Leanne Cook, HDTF Board President, says there will be a free screening of the FRONTLINE documentary “Contaminated: The Carpet Industry’s Toxic Legacy”. The reporters that conducted this investigation into PFAs will be on hand for a discussion afterwards.
