The Atlanta Braves beat the Detroit Tigers by 4-3 on Wednesday night in the second meeting of a three-game set at Truist Park. That marks another series win for Atlanta.
Ozzie Albies had a two-run homer that got the Braves on the board during the bottom of the first inning. The Tigers scored a pair of runs in the second and another in the third to take a 3-2 lead. Matt Olson clubbed a two-run homer in the ninth to secure a walk-off victory for the Braves.
Reynaldo Lopez got the win in relief for Atlanta. Kenley Jansen was charged with the loss for Detroit.
The National League East-leading Braves are now 22-9 on the 2026 regular season. They will wrap up their current six-game homestand with the series finale versus the Tigers this afternoon at 12:15 pm.
