The Atlanta Braves defeated the Colorado Rockies by 11-6 on Sunday in the the finale of a three-game set at Coors Field out in Denver, CO. That allowed Atlanta to sweep the series.
Highlights for the Braves included back-to-back home runs from Jonah Heim and Jorge Mateo in the top of the second inning. Heim had a total of five RBIs in the game, while Mateo contributed two.
Aaron Bummer picked up the win in relief for Atlanta, whose starting pitcher Spencer Strider made his debut after beginning the season on the injured list. Kyle Freeland took the loss for Colorado.
The National League East-leading Braves improved their MLB-best record to 25-10 for the 2026 regular season. They will continue their current road trip out west tonight with the opener of a three-game set in Seattle, WA versus the Mariners. First pitch is slated for 9:40 pm Eastern.
