The Rome Emperors defeated the Hub City Spartanburgers by a final score of 13-5 on Wednesday in the second game of a six-game set in Spartanburg, SC. That evened the series at a game each. Highlights for the Emperors included home runs by Mason Guerra, Eric Hartman, and Cody Miller. They will take on the Spartanburgers again this evening at 6:35 pm.
The Emperors are currently in the midst of a 12-game road trip. Their series in Spartanburg will continue through this Sunday and will be followed by six games in Winston-Salem, NC versus the Dash next Tuesday through Sunday.
