The Atlanta Braves lost to the Boston Red Sox by 8-0 on Wednesday night in the second meeting of a three-game interleague set at Fenway Park in Boston, MA. That evened the series at 1-1.
Bryce Elder was charged with the loss for Atlanta after surrendering six runs (five earned) and nine hits, walking one, and striking out one in just three and one-third innings of work. Connelly Early picked up the win for Boston.
Offensive highlights for the Red Sox included a home run by Jarren Duran to begin the bottom of the eighth.
The National League East-leading Braves still have the best record in MLB at 37-19 on the 2026 regular season, while the Red Sox are still in last place of the American League East at 23-31.
