AdventHealth is pleased to welcome Weston King, MD, to AdventHealth Medical Group Primary Care & Urgent Care at Summerville. Dr. King joins the care team, expanding access to comprehensive primary care services for adults throughout Chattooga County and the surrounding communities.
Dr. King is a primary care physician dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. He values building strong relationships with his patients and believes in a whole-person approach to health, partnering with individuals to support their physical, mental and emotional well-being through preventive care, education and personalized treatment plans. His goal is to help patients live healthier, fuller lives by addressing their unique health needs and empowering them to take an active role in their care.
Dr. King earned his Doctor of Medicine from Mercer University School of Medicine and completed a Master of Biological Science at William Carey University. He completed his internal medicine residency at AdventHealth Redmond, where he focused his training on primary care and chronic disease management. His clinical interests include diabetes care, preventive medicine and improving health outcomes in rural communities.
AdventHealth Medical Group Primary Care & Urgent Care at Summerville provides a wide range of services, including acute and chronic disease management, diabetes care, preventive medicine, wellness exams, routine health screenings, immunizations, mental health care and treatment for minor illnesses and injuries. The practice also offers laboratory services, weight management and comprehensive women’s and men’s health care.
