Annual Health Initiative for Men and Women Set for August 15th

The Northwest Georgia Regional Cancer Coalition encourages community members to attend the 24^th annual Health Initiative for Men and Women, set for Saturday, August 15^th. It will be held from 8 am until 12 pm at the Floyd County Health Department, 16 East 12^th Street in Rome.

Erin Hernandez, President and CEO, says that attendees may take advantage of health screenings and more at the event.

The coalition is among many organizations that team up with the 100 Black Men of Rome-Northwest Georgia to present the Health Initiative for Men and Women each year. For more information, call (706) 291-9809.
