The Rome Emperors picked up a 12-1 win over the Hub City Spartanburgers on Wednesday night in the second meeting of a six-game set in Spartanburg, SC.
Eric Hartman clubbed two-run homers during the first and ninth innings for the Emperors, who took a 2-0 lead in the series.
Rome and Hub City will meet again this evening. The first pitch is scheduled for 6:35 pm.
