The Atlanta Braves defeated the Washington Nationals by 4-2 on Sunday in the finale of a four-game National League East set at Truist Park. It allowed Atlanta to sweep the series.
Mike Yastrzemski had two RBIs to include a home run to begin the bottom of the third inning. Matt Olson contributed a home run to start the bottom of the fourth.
Dylan Dodd was credited with the win in relief for Atlanta. Raisel Iglesias secured the save. Cade Cavalli took the loss for Washington.
The NL East-leading Braves improved to 67-45 on the 2026 regular season. They have today off and will continue their current seven-game homestand on Tuesday night with the first of three division outings against the Miami Marlins.
