The people of Cave Spring have had the opportunity for a reset after a flurry of activities throughout June and early July. They are now looking forward to Fall.
Upcoming events will include a special service on Friday, September 11th at 11 am to honor lives lost 25 years ago in the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the U.S., in addition to the Cave Spring Pig Out and Car Show on Saturday, September 26th at 10 am. Curtis Burch, a Board Member for the Cave Spring Downtown Development Authority and Cave Spring Historical Society, looks forward to both events.
October events will include the Pickle Festival set for October 10th and 11th as a benefit for the CSHS and the second annual Coffin Races on October 17th. Now may be the ideal time for teams to start preparing for the Coffin Races, as indicated by Burch, who hopes to expand on the success of last year’s first-ever races.
