The Atlanta Braves defeated the Miami Marlins by 4-1 on Wednesday night in the second outing of a three-game National League East set at Truist Park. It marked the seventh straight win for Atlanta.
The Braves scored three runs in the bottom of the second inning on an RBI double by Austin Riley and a two-run single by Drake Baldwin. Mauricio Dubon added an RBI single in the third.
Bryce Elder picked up the win for Atlanta after surrendering just one run and one hit, walking two, and striking out three in seven innings. Didier Fuentes got the save. Eury Perez took the loss for Miami.
The NL East-leading Braves improved to 69-45 on the 2026 regular season, while the third place Marlins are 58-57. Those teams will meet in their series finale tonight at 7:15 pm in Atlanta.
