Rome City Commissioners will meet in regular session on Monday evening at 6:30 pm at City Hall (or the City Auditorium) on Broad Street. A caucus will take place at 5 pm in the Sam King Room.
Commissioners will hold the last two of three public hearings on the 2026 tax millage rate today. A hearing will be held at a called meeting this morning at 10 am, and the last will take place at tonight’s regular meeting. Hearings will be followed by adoption of the 2026 tax millage rate tonight.

The Floyd County Board of Commissioners will meet Tuesday at the county’s Administration Building on East 4th Avenue in downtown Rome. Caucus will be held at 4 pm in the Caucus Room (Suite 204); that will be followed by the meeting at 6 pm in the Community Room (Suite 206).
