The Atlanta Braves shut out the New York Mets by 4-0 on Tuesday night in the middle outing of a three-game National League East set at Truist Park. It evened the series.
Ozzie Albies got the Braves on the board with a home run to open the bottom of the fifth inning. Mauricio Dubon drove in a run with a sac fly in the seventh. Matt Olson hit a two-run homer in the eighth.
Martin Perez was Atlanta’s winning pitcher. He surrendered just four hits, walked three, and struck out two over six scoreless innings. Nolan McLean took the loss for New York.
The NL East-leading Braves improved to 72-48 on the 2026 regular season, while the Mets remain in last place of the division at 53-68.
