The Atlanta Braves beat the Los Angeles Dodgers by 1-0 on Thursday night in the finale of a three-game set at Truist Park. That led to a series sweep for the Braves, who have won their last four straight games.
Chris Sale rendered the Dodgers scoreless through a complete game to secure the win for Atlanta. He gave up five hits, walked none, and struck out 11. Yoshinobu Yamamoto took the loss for LA.
Drake Baldwin led the Braves offensively with a home run to lead off the bottom of the first inning.
The National League East-leading Braves won their season series versus the NL West-leading Dodgers by 5-1.
The Braves’ record is now 79-55 on the 2026 regular season. They will host the Colorado Rockies in a three-game set over the weekend. First pitch of tonight’s series opener is slated for 7:15 pm.
