A Georgia Lottery player won a $1 million top prize playing the 50 Xtra scratcher. The player claimed their winnings on Sept. 11 and purchased the lucky ticket at Richmond Hill Market, 512 Richmond Hill Road West in Augusta. Last week, Georgia Lottery players claimed $37,639,441 in prizes from scratch-off tickets.
Another player in Augusta hit the jackpot for $297,933 in the Sept. 11 Fantasy 5 drawing with a ticket from Raceway, 3481 Wrightsboro Road in Augusta. The ticket matched all five winning numbers, which were 01-16-33-36-38.
Residents of Duluth and Calhoun each won $50,000 in the Sept. 12 Powerball drawing by matching four of the five white-ball numbers and the Powerball. Both tickets were purchased on the Georgia Lottery mobile app. The next Powerball drawing will be Sept. 14 for a jackpot of $251 million.
The Sept. 11 Mega Millions drawing also produced a $30,000 winner who played at Shri Sarvoday LLC, 201A E Montgomery Cross Road in Savannah. The ticket, which matched four of the five white ball numbers and the Mega ball, had a built-in 3X multiplier which tripled the prize from $10,000 to $30,000. The next drawing will be Sept. 15 for $227 million.
A Georgia Lottery player hit the jackpot for $156,168 playing the $50 and $100 Frenzy Quick Win Game on Sept. 10. The lucky ticket was purchased at Atlanta Texaco/EZ Market, 2100 Metropolitan Parkway SW in Atlanta. Two days later, another player won the jackpot for the same game playing at Marathon Lotto mart, 401 Veterans Parkway in Columbus.
A Barnesville resident won $10,000 playing the Disco Pig Lucky Coins Diggi Game on the Georgia Lottery website on Sept. 14, and a ticket from Pritam BP, 5316 Augusta Road in Garden City, won the $10,000 top prize in the Sept. 12 evening drawing of Georgia FIVE.
As with all Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from scratchers, Fantasy 5, Powerball , Mega Millions, Quick Win, Diggi Games and Georgia FIVE benefit education in the state of Georgia.
