One hundred and six students were honored as the fall 2026 inductees into Georgia Northwestern Technical College’s (GNTC) chapter of National Technical Honor Society (NTHS).
A full capacity crowd of friends, family, faculty and staff gathered in the Conference Center on GNTC’s Gordon County Campus in Calhoun recently to celebrate the newest NTHS members’ achievement.
“Membership in the National Technical Honor Society is an honor that you will be able to carry with you throughout your education and your career,” said Dr. Elizabeth Anderson, executive vice president and chief academic officer of GNTC.
The officers for the 2026-27 Academic Year are Santeria Mizell, president; Samuel Ort, vice president; and Aiyana Johnson, communications officer.
To qualify for GNTC’s chapter of the NTHS, students must have a GPA of 3.0 and be in good academic, behavioral and financial standing.
“Induction into the National Technical Honor Society is one of the highest honors in career and technical education,” said Medina Safic, NTHS advisor and coordinator of Career Services at GNTC.
