The Atlanta Braves advanced in the 2026 MLB Postseason on Thursday night with a 6-2 victory in Game Three of their National League Wild Card Series versus the Philadelphia Phillies at Truist Park.
The Braves scored all six of their runs on home runs. Michael Harris II had a three-run bomb in the bottom of the first inning. Ozzie Albies contributed a two-run shot during the fourth. Matt Olson added a solo home run during the seventh.
Atlanta starting pitcher Ray Kerr limited the Phillies to one hit, walked one, and struck out two over three and one-third scoreless innings. Grant Holmes was credited with the win in relief after giving up only one run and two hits, walking one, and striking out one over two innings. Even Braves ace Chris Sale pitched one and one-third innings in relief. Aaron Nola took the loss for Philadelphia.
The Braves now proceed to a National League Division Series versus the Los Angeles Dodgers. Game One in the best-of-five set is slated for this Saturday at 4 pm Eastern in Los Angeles, CA.
