Media release from AdventHealth Georgia:
AdventHealth Redmond and Floyd Against Drugs are partnering to host a community Drug Drop Event on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 9 a.m. to noon, providing a safe and convenient way for community members to dispose of unused or expired medications.
The drive-through event will take place at AdventHealth Redmond, located at 501 Redmond Road. Participants can remain in their vehicles while dropping off unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medications. Sharps will not be accepted.

The event is open to the public and free of charge. Community members are encouraged to gather any expired or unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medications and bring them to the event for proper disposal.
