The staff and board members of The Davies Shelters are grateful for locals’ generosity to non-profits. They hope that this spirit of kindness will continue into the upcoming holiday season.
The Davies Shelters’ mission is to provide shelter, resources, and more to the homeless of Rome and Floyd County.
Matt Stacy, Executive Director, says that assistance with basic necessities is always needed at The Davies Shelters. Help is also needed for the holidays. The public may provide Christmas gifts to shelter clients and many others via The Salvation Army of Rome, GA’s Angel Tree program, he adds.
Stacy additionally solicits financial contributions from concerned citizens to help The Davies Shelters have a strong conclusion to 2026.
Those who would like to learn more about The Davies Shelters need only to reach out to Stacy to arrange a presentation.
