Rome Little Theatre Looks Forward to Last Two Shows of 2026-27 Season Back at the DeSoto [AUDIO]

The Rome Little Theatre looks forward to returning to the historic DeSoto Theatre for the final two shows of their 2026-2027 season. The season was shortened to three shows and the first show was presented at the Rome City Auditorium due to renovations at the DeSoto.

Jessica Stewart, RLT Executive Director, encourages creative members of the community to check out the theatre’s social media outlets for show updates, including audition announcements.

The next show in the 2026-2027 season will be particularly poignant as the country (and the world) earlier this Fall observed the 25^th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the U.S.A. “Come From Away” tells the real-life story of plane passengers forced to land unexpectedly at Gander International Airport in Newfoundland in the wake of the attacks. Stewart says that a total of 12 actors will explore multiple characters, based on real people, in the RLT production.

“Come From Away” will be presented from April 30^th through May 9^th at the DeSoto. RLT will conclude the current season with “Always A Bridesmaid” from June 11^th through 20^th. Visit www.romelittletheatre.com for tickets and more information.
