Governor Brian Kemp, Republican, won his bid for re-election versus Stacey Abrams, a Democrat. In contested races of local interest, Marjorie Taylor Greene was re-elected to US House District 14. Toni Blanchard will remain on the Rome City Schools Board of Education. A referendum concerning Sunday alcohol sales in Floyd County was also approved.
