The Atlanta Braves wrapped up a six-game homestand on Wednesday night with a 6-3 win over the Miami Marlins in the finale of a three-game National League East set at Truist Park. Atlanta took the series by 2-1 and went 4-2 during their homestand.
Ozzie Albies got the home team on the board with a solo home run during the bottom of the second. Mauricio Dubon added an RBI single in that inning. Austin Riley homered to begin the bottom of the sixth. It was his first home run of the 2026 regular season.
The Braves scored three in the seventh on an RBI single from Drake Baldwin and a two-run homer by Matt Olson.
Liam Hicks had a two-run homer in the Marlins’ three-run top of the eighth inning.
Bryce Elder was Atlanta’s winning pitcher. He gave up just four hits, walked two, and struck out seven over five and two-third scoreless innings of work. Raisel Iglesias picked up the save. Chris Paddack was charged with the loss for Miami.
The Braves lead the NL East with a record of of 12-7. They are off tonight and will open a seven-game road trip on Friday night with the first of three division battles in Philadelphia, PA versus the Phillies. First pitch is slated for 6:40 pm.
