The Salvation Army of Rome, GA continues to accept donations into Spring. Major Hank Harwell, Corps Officer, says that the non-profit receives a lot of support for its holiday fundraising efforts. However, donations are needed all year-round to fund services that are provided all year-round.
The public may visit www.salvationarmyrome.org to donate, says Harwell, who adds that checks may be mailed or delivered in person to The Salvation Army of Rome, GA’s office at 317 East 1st Avenue.
And here’s a heads up for Spring cleaners – donations of gently used items are also sought at this time for The Salvation Army Rome Family Store, says Harwell, who adds that volunteers are additionally needed.
Local donors and volunteers will be honored for their contributions during National Salvation Army Week, set for May 11-17. The annual Appreciation Luncheon is set for May 12th at the Rome Civic Center.
The Salvation Army of Rome, GA may be contacted via telephone at (706) 291-4745.
