The Atlanta Braves beat the Seattle Mariners by 3-2 on Tuesday night in the middle outing of a three-game set in Seattle, WA. That evened the series at a game each.
The Mariners opened the scoring with a two-run homer by JP Crawford in the bottom of the third inning. The Braves tied it at 2-2 on a two-run double by Mauricio Dubon in the top of the fourth. Matt Olson put Atlanta on top with a home run to begin the top of the ninth.
Atlanta starting pitcher Bryce Elder surrendered just two runs and two hits, walked three, and struck out a season-high nine through six innings. Robert Suarez was credited with the win. Raisel Iglesias secured the save. Andres Munoz took the loss for Seattle.
The National League East-leading Braves improved their MLB-best record to 26-11 on the 2026 regular season. They will conclude their series in Seattle versus the Mariners this afternoon at 4:10 pm Eastern.
