Rome Little Theatre proudly celebrated its rich history and vibrant future Wednesday night at the unforgettable event “RLT’s Stage Send Off.” A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who joined us for this momentous occasion, where we indulged in an evening filled with powerful stories, shared memories, and a collective appreciation for the remarkable journey of RLT over the past four decades.
From the poignant tales of early renovations of the DeSoto Theatre the 1980s to the inspiring dreams of what lies ahead, the stories told by our dedicated community members truly highlighted the spirit and resilience that define RLT. This event not only honored our history but also set the stage for the future, sparking excitement for what’s to come for Rome Little Theatre.

Riverside Parkway Closed Tuesday, May 12th
Announcement from the Floyd County Emergency Management Agency:
Riverside Parkway will be closed Tuesday, May 12th at the railroad tracks to allow for maintenance of the crossing.
Norfolk Southern will be repairing the railroad crossing on May 12, 2026 beginning at 7 a.m. This will require a full closure of the crossing and will restrict the road for thru traffic.
Please advise your staff and associates of the travel interruption. Signs will be up to mark the closure for local access only.
