The Three Rivers Singers will present “Songs of America” on the afternoon of Saturday, May 9th at 4 pm at Rotary Plaza next to the Forum River Center in downtown Rome.
Kam Malone, Conductor, enthuses that this outdoor concert will celebrate the 250th birthday of the U.S.A. (a little early).
The set list will feature several patriotic selections that will move attendees’ hearts, according to Virginia McChesney, President of the Board of Directors for the Three Rivers Singers.
Songs will include “My Country ‘Tis of Thee”, “America the Beautiful”, and “Battle Hymn of the Republic”. Malone believes that it is important to keep songs like these near the top of Americans’ playlists.
Admission to “Songs of America” is free, though donations will be accepted. For more information, visit www.threeriverssingers.com.
This will be the final concert of the Three Rivers Singers’ 2025-2026 season.
