Planning some family adventures for this Summer? There are plenty to enjoy at James H. “Sloppy” Floyd State Park in Summerville.
Katy Gramling, Park Manager, states that those adventures include camping. Accommodations include electric and back country campsites, in addition to a pioneer campground with water but no electricity.
Reservations are mostly booked during the weekends into June, according to Gramling, who says that weekdays are the optimal times to snag a campsite.
