The Atlanta Braves beat the Miami Marlins by 9-3 on Thursday night in the finale of a four-game National League East set in Miami, FL. That allowed Atlanta to take the series by 3-1.
Michael Harris II had a two-run homer to get the Braves on the board in the top of the first inning, along with a solo shot in the ninth. Mike Yastrzemski contributed a solo home run in the second.
Kyle Stowers had a couple of home runs for the Marlins. Owen Caissie also homered.
Spencer Strider picked up the win for Atlanta after giving up three runs and four hits, walking two, and striking out nine over six and one-third innings of work. Sandy Alcantara took the loss for Miami.
The NL East-leading Braves improved their MLB-best record to 35-16 on the 2026 regular season. They will be back in action on their home field at Truist Park in Atlanta over the weekend with a three-game division series versus the Washington Nationals.
