The Rome Emperors lost to the Hub City Spartanburgers by 4-3 on Thursday evening in the third meeting of a six-game set in Spartanburg, SC. Hub City enters the holiday weekend with a series lead by 2-1. Game four is on tap for tonight at 7:05 pm.
The Emperors are currently in the midst of a 12-game road trip. Their series in Spartanburg will continue through this Sunday and will be followed by six games in Winston-Salem, NC versus the Dash next Tuesday through Sunday.
