The Atlanta Braves opened up a six-game homestand with a 4-3 win over the Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday night in the first meeting of a three-game set at Truist Park.
The Braves scored two runs during the bottom of the first inning with an RBI double from Michael Harris II and a sac fly by Ozzie Albies. The Blue Jays tied it up in the top of the second on a two-run homer by Kazuma Okamoto. Albies broke that tie with an RBI single in the third. Toronto tied it again on a sac fly from Daulton Varsho in the top of the sixth. Matt Olson delivered the tiebreaker with a home run for the home team to begin the bottom of that inning.
Bryce Elder was Atlanta’s winning pitcher. He surrendered three runs and six hits, walked one, and struck out six through six and two-third innings of work. Raisel Iglesias picked up the save. Kevin Gausman took the loss for Toronto.
Tuesday’s win allowed the Braves to improve their MLB-best record to 41-20 on the 2026 regular season. They will face the Blue Jays again tonight. First pitch is set for 7:15 pm in Atlanta.
