Camp season has arrived for Scouting America’s Northwest Georgia Council! Eric Vaughn, council board member, attests that scouts learn and grow a lot at camp.
Many campers enjoy a week at Camp Sidney Dew, located approximately 20 miles north of Rome.
Some scouts are already preparing for a week at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico next Summer, according to Vaughn. They are getting in shape and raising funds for a grueling mountain hike.
