The Rome Emperors concluded a set in Lakewood, NJ on Sunday with a 2-0 victory over the Jersey Shore BlueClaws. That allowed Rome to sweep the series, which was shortened from six to five games due to a power outage on Independence Day. Dallas Macias led the charge with a two-run homer in the top of the second inning.
The Emperors are off today and will resume their current two-week road trip in Wappingers Falls, NY with a six-game series against the Hudson Valley Renegades this Tuesday through Sunday.
