The Atlanta Braves beat the Pittsburgh Pirates by 10-5 on Thursday afternoon in the finale of a three-game set in Pittsburgh, PA. Atlanta won that series by 2-1.
Highlights included a solo home run from Matt Olson in the top of the first inning. Jim Jarvis added a two-run shot in the fourth. Mike Yastrzemski clubbed a grand slam in the ninth.
Dylan Dodd picked up the win in relief for Atlanta. Mitch Keller was tagged with the loss for Pittsburgh.
The Braves now hold a three game lead in the National League East with a record of 54-38 on the 2026 regular season. Their last series before the MLB All-Star break is set for this weekend in St. Louis, MO versus the Cardinals. First pitch of tonight’s series opener is scheduled for 8:15 pm.
