The American League beat the National League by 4-0 on Tuesday night in the 2026 MLB All-Star Game at Citizens Bank Park up in Philadelphia, PA. Cody Bellinger was named MVP. He got the AL on the board with a two-run single in the top of their three-run first inning. Miguel Vargas of the Chicago White Sox had a solo home run in the eighth. Dylan Cease from the Toronto Blue Jays was the winning pitcher for that league. Cristopher Sanchez of the Philadelphia Phillies was tagged with the loss for the NL on his team’s home field.
The Atlanta Braves were represented on the NL roster by Ozzie Albies, Drake Baldwin, Raisel Iglesias, Matt Olson, and Chris Sale. Albies and Olson went 0-for-2, while Baldwin went 0-for-1. Iglesias surrendered just one hit in one scoreless inning.
Upon conclusion of the MLB All-Star break, the Braves will return to action this Friday night as hosts to the Texas Rangers in Atlanta.
