Rome Emperors Drop Homestand Opener to Greensboro Grasshoppers, Announce Roster Moves

The Rome Emperors lost to the Greensboro Grasshoppers by 6-4 on Tuesday evening in the first outing of a six-game set at AdventHealth Stadium.

Cody Miller clubbed a three-run homer for the Emperors in the bottom of the fourth inning. Dixon Williams had a solo shot in the eighth.

Rome and Greensboro will meet again this evening. First pitch is scheduled for 6:45 pm.
