A Georgia Lottery player won $100,000 in the Aug. 14 Mega Millions drawing by matching four of the five white-ball numbers and the Mega Ball. The lucky ticket was purchased at One Convenient Stop, 300 Broad Street in Camilla, and had a built-in 10X multiplier. A Macon resident also won $20,000 with a 2X multiplier, purchased on the Georgia Lottery website. The next Mega Millions drawing will be Aug. 18 for an estimated jackpot of $100 million.
On Aug.15, a player in Hoschton won $50,000 playing Powerball at Quick Pick Mart, 4185 Braselton Highway in Hoschton. The ticket matched four of the five white-ball numbers and the Powerball. The next drawing will be Aug. 17 for a $35 million jackpot.
In addition, a Pooler resident hit the jackpot for $584,912 playing the 100X The Money Quick Win game on the Georgia Lottery mobile app on Aug. 14 and an Atlanta player won $39,830 playing $25 and $50 Frenzy Quick Win on Aug. 17. Quick Win games are instant play, instant win games that share a rolling progressive jackpot.
Several players won prizes playing Diggi Games and Keno! on the Georgia Lottery mobile app:
- A Marietta resident won $16,666 playing Elephant King Jackpots on Aug. 16
- A player in Stockbridge won $15,000 playing Fishing for Gold: On Tour on Aug. 14
- A Smyrna player won $14,000 playing Keno! on Aug. 16
- A resident of Thomasville won $10,000 playing Twice As Spice on Aug. 14
Two players won $7,500 in Millionaire for Life drawings over the weekend by matching four of the five white-ball numbers and the Millionaire Ball. The tickets were purchased at Dev Food Mart, 4475 North Henry Blvd. in Stockbridge, for the Aug. 14 drawing and Marathon Food Mart, 5700 Warm Springs Road in Columbus, for the Aug. 15 drawing.
Finally, two tickets won the $10,000 top prize playing Georgia FIVE. Those tickets were purchased at Publix, 2715 Loganville Highway SW in Loganville, for the Aug. 15 midday drawing and at Salem Food & Gas, 3538 Salem Road in Covington, for the Aug. 16 midday drawing.
As with all Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from Mega Millions, Powerball, Quick Win, Diggi Games, Keno!, Millionaire for Life, and Georgia FIVE benefit education in the state of Georgia.
