Media release from AdventHealth Georgia:
AdventHealth invites the community to gather for an evening of worship, encouragement and connection at Night of Hope, a free concert and community event taking place Saturday, Sept. 19, at Ridge Ferry Park in Rome.
The event will feature performances by nationally recognized Christian artists Naomi Raine and Pat Barrett, along with songs by local musician, Daniel Mulkey, and encouraging messages from area faith leaders. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., with the program beginning at 7 pm. Families, friends and community members of all ages are invited to attend.
Night of Hope was created to bring people together through music, faith and fellowship while offering a message of hope and encouragement for people of Northwest Georgia.
“At AdventHealth, we believe caring for a community extends beyond the walls of our hospitals and clinics,” said Isaac Sendros, president and CEO of AdventHealth Georgia Market. “Night of Hope is an opportunity for people from across Northwest Georgia to come together, be encouraged and experience the power of faith, music and community. We are excited to offer this free event and look forward to welcoming families from throughout the region.”
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets as they enjoy an evening of live music in an outdoor setting. Food vendors and family-friendly activities will also be available throughout the event. Past Night of Hope concerts have featured Christian artists Danny Gokey and Brandon Heath.
The concert is part of AdventHealth’s ongoing commitment to supporting whole-person health by fostering physical, mental and spiritual well-being throughout the communities it serves.
