AdventHealth is pleased to announce the opening of AdventHealth Medical Group Primary Care at John Maddox Drive, a new medical practice designed to provide convenient access to comprehensive primary care and internal medicine for individuals and families in Northwest Georgia. The practice officially opened on Sept. 8 and offers preventive care, chronic disease management, wellness visits and personalized treatment plans for adult patients.
The new location reflects AdventHealth’s ongoing commitment to meeting the growing healthcare needs of the community by providing whole-person care that addresses physical, mental and spiritual well-being.

The practice is staffed by three experienced clinicians dedicated to building meaningful relationships with patients and delivering high-quality care close to home.
Dr. Katlyn Zavala is a board-certified internal medicine physician dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based, whole-person care for adults. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Chattanooga.
Savannah Stevens is a family nurse practitioner committed to providing compassionate, whole-person care for adult and geriatric patients. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Jacksonville State University and brings extensive experience in primary care, internal medicine and critical care nursing.
Charma Cochran is a nurse practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for adults and geriatric patients. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Georgia State University and has extensive experience improving patient outcomes through collaborative, high-quality care.
Together, the provider team brings a broad range of expertise and a shared commitment to delivering exceptional care while helping patients achieve their healthiest lives.
