The Atlanta Braves wrapped up a six-game homestand on Sunday with a loss to the Philadelphia Phillies by 9-4 in the last outing of a three-game National League East set at Truist Park. Atlanta was denied a series sweep and went 3-3 during the homestand.
Matt Olson had three RBIs for the Braves, including a two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning.
The Phillies scored seven runs in the top of the eighth en route to the victory. Alec Bohm began the rally with a tie-breaking, two-run double. JT Realmuto had three RBIs to include a two-run homer in the second.
Dylan Lee was charged with the loss for Atlanta. Jose Alvarado got the win for Philadelphia.
The NL East-leading Braves are now 88-62 on the 2026 regular season. They will begin a six-game road trip tonight with the opener of a three-game series up in Chicago, IL against the Cubs. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:40 pm at Wrigley Field.
