The Children’s Museum of Rome will officially open its doors to the public on Thursday, September 17th. Local families are invited to visit the hands-on, interactive learning environment located at Mount Berry Mall.
Jenna Bosarge, Founder and Board President, says that some fun things have been planned for the museum’s grand opening. She is excited for community members to see it.
This space really reflects Rome, according to Bosarge. Its features include a custom playground designed to resemble the Robert Redden Footbridge and a host of community exhibits.
Bosarge adds that she is grateful for the generosity of this community which paved the way for her dream of the Children’s Museum of Rome to become a reality.
Admission to the museum is $12.50 for ages two and up. Memberships and group rates are also available. To purchase tickets and get more information, visit www.childrensmuseumromega.org.
The museum is currently booking field trips. To book a field trip, teachers may send an email to programs@childrensmuseumromega.org.
All visitors, children and adults, will need to sign waiver before enjoying the museum.
