Media release from the Georgia Lottery Corporation:
A Georgia Lottery player won $1 million in the Sept. 14 Powerball drawing by matching all five white-ball numbers. The lucky ticket was purchased at JD Food Mart, 100 Temple Avenue in Newnan, and the winning numbers were 19-20-57-61-67 with red Power Ball 22. The next drawing will be Sept. 16 for a jackpot of $271 million.
Another player hit the jackpot for $184,618 in the Sept. 14 Fantasy 5 drawing with a ticket from Murphy USA, 2419 Highway 80 West in Dublin. The ticket matched all five winning numbers, which were 07-10-11-20-31.
As with all Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from Powerball and Fantasy 5 benefit education in the state of Georgia.
