Scotty Hancock, Executive Director of Community Advocacy for AdventHealth Georgia Market, has been appointed to serve on the Georgia Department of Community Health GREAT Health’s Advisory Council, a statewide body dedicated to strengthening healthcare access and outcomes in rural communities across Georgia.
The GREAT Health Advisory Council is charged with providing feedback on the GREAT Health Program, offering expertise on rural healthcare issues and reviewing the program’s progress throughout the state. The Council brings together healthcare leaders, hospital executives, policy experts and academic representatives from across Georgia to help guide initiatives that support rural health and improve care delivery.
“I am honored to have been selected to serve on the Council representing AdventHealth Georgia,” said Hancock. “I look forward to partnering with leaders and helping advance initiatives that strengthen healthcare access and outcomes for rural communities throughout Georgia.”
The Council’s membership includes representatives from healthcare systems, community hospitals, universities and healthcare advocacy organizations throughout the state. Hancock’s appointment reflects both his commitment to community advocacy and AdventHealth Georgia’s ongoing investment in improving the health and well-being of the communities it serves.
