AdventHealth Medical Group is pleased to welcome Kirklyn Layne, NP-C, a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery care.
Layne is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for adult and geriatric patients. Working closely with surgeons, care teams, patients and families, he focuses on helping individuals feel informed, comfortable and prepared throughout their surgical journey.
Layne earned his Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Kennesaw State University and his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia Highlands College, where he graduated cum laude. He is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Prior to joining AdventHealth Medical Group, Layne gained extensive experience in emergency and prehospital medicine, serving in a variety of clinical leadership and patient care roles, including registered nurse, assistant nurse manager and paramedic.
