BRAVES SIGN HAMELS TO ONE-YEAR DEAL

The Atlanta Braves signed pitcher Cole Hamels to a one-year deal worth $18 million on Wednesday.  He spent the last two seasons with the Chicago Cubs.  He has also played for the Texas Rangers and the Philadelphia Phillies during his 14-year career. CULBERSON GRANTED FREE AGENCY BY ATLANTA BRAVES
