UNEMPLOYMENT RATES RISE SLIGHTLY FOR ROME, NORTHWEST GEORGIA

Mark Butler, Georgia’s Labor Commissioner, has announced that Rome saw an uptick in jobs for September. Rome’s unemployment rate stood at five percent last month, up slightly from 4.7 percent in August. The rate was 3.3 percent in September 2019.
