Mark Butler, Georgia’s Labor Commissioner, reports that the unemployment rate in Rome spiked in April to break previous record highs. FIFTEEN TRAFFIC FATALITIES REPORTED OVER MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND IN GEORGIA

The Georgia Department of Public Safety has reported that 15 people died on the state’s roadways over Memorial Day weekend.
